Spring

Conestoga Valley Baseball Association offers the following levels of baseball competition in the Spring/Summer and Fall seasons.

10U Travel - Junior Midget Travel Baseball (Spring/Fall)
·  Each travel level player will be provided a shirt, and hat as part of their paid registration.
·  Players born between 5/1/05 and 4/30/06 are eligible for this program. Players turning 11 years of age by April 30, 2016 are ineligible for this level. Click here for detailed age chart.
·  This age level generally has Section 1 and Section 2 teams.
·  There are no guarantees your son will make a team at the 10U level. Your son will be automatically placed in the CVYLL program if not selected for a 10U Travel team. A refund will be issued for the difference between the travel and CVLL fee if a player does not make the 10U travel team. 
·  Teams in this program will generally play multiple times per week throughout the season. Number of practices will be determined by the respective coaches. 
·  There will be one or two games per week during the season. Games are generally played during the week. Make-up games are reschedule based upon umpire’s availability and may be played on the weekends. 
·  CV 10U Home field is: Upper Leacock Twp Municipal building - 29 Hillcrest Avenue Leola, PA 17540
·  Metal bats at this age group are limited maximum barrels of 2 1/4 inches, and length to weight ratios (ie., -8, -10, -12 are allowed) are not limited. 
·  2017 Post Season Playoffs will be held in June 2017 for eligible Section 1 teams.
·  Section 2 teams do not have post season playoffs, however, have a season ending tournament on a weekend in June 2015. Fees for this tournament will be covered by CVBA. 
·  Game balls and practice balls will be supplied by CVBA.
·  Players will be required to provide their own glove, rubber cleats, and bat. CVBA has a limited supply of catchers gear, bats and batting helmets. 

12U Travel - Junior Midget Travel Baseball (Spring/Fall)
·   
Players born between 5/1/03 and 4/30/05 are eligible for this program. Players turning 13 years of age by April 30, 2016 are ineligible for this level.
·  There are no guarantees your son will make a team at the 12U level. Your son will be automatically placed in the CVYLL program if not selected for a 12U Travel team. A refund will be issued for the difference between the travel and CVLL fee if a player does not make the 12U travel team.
·  Teams in this program will generally practice one or two times per week throughout the season. Number of practices will be determined by the respective coaches.
·  There will generally be one or two games per week during the season. Games are generally played during the week, but make-up games may be played on the weekends.
·  Game are played against other Lancaster County teams.
·  CV 12U Home field is: Flory Park Field #1 (no lights) - Greenland Drive Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17601
·  Metal bats at this age group are limited maximum barrels of 2 1/4 inches, and length to weight ratios (ie., -8, -10, -12 are allowed) are not limited.
·  2017 Post Season Playoffs will be held in June 2017 for eligible Section 1 and Section 2 teams.
·  Section 3 teams do not have post season playoffs, however, have a season ending tournament on a weekend in June 2015.
·  Section 1 team are eligible for the season ending New Era Tournament to be held July 11th - July 15, 2015 (rain date final July 18th).
·  This level generally has a Section 1, Section 2 and a Section 3 team.

14U Travel - Junior Midget Travel Baseball (Spring/Fall)
·   Players born between 5/1/01 and 4/30/03 are eligible for this program. Players turning 15 years of age by April 30, 2016 are ineligible for this level.  
·   Players on a High School roster are not eligible for the 14U level
·   Teams in this program will generally practice one or two times per week throughout the season. Number of practices will be determined by the respective coaches.
·   There will generally be one or two games per week during the season. Games are generally played during the week, but make-up games may be played on the weekends.
·   Game are played against other Lancaster County teams. Traveling is limited within Lancaster County.
·   Home games will generally be played at Lafayette Tower Park Fire Company Lower Field 1905 Woodland Ave Lancaster, PA 17602.
·   Metal bats at this age group are limited maximum barrels of 2 5/8 inches, and length to weight ratios of no greater than -3. Exceptions apply at Section 3 levels. Please check with your son's coach at the start of the season prior to purchasing a bat.
·   2016 Post Season Playoffs will be held in July 2014 for eligible Section 1 and Section 2 teams.
·   Section 3 teams do not have post season playoffs, however, have a season ending tournament on a weekend in June 2016.
·   Section 1 team are eligible for the season ending New Era Tournament to be held in July 20, - July 25


Midget Baseball (late Spring/Summer/Fall)
Conestoga Valley Midget Travel Baseball is for ages 15 and 16 (9th and 10th Grade). Games start about 2-3 weeks after High School baseball. The season usually begins with practices in mid-May and Post Season Playoffs are held in mid-July. This team competes in the Lancaster County Baseball League. 
·  Players born between 5/1/99 and 4/30/01 are eligible for this program. Players turning 17 years of age by April 30, 2016 are ineligible for this level.  
·  There will generally be two or three games per week during the season. Games are generally played during the week, but make-up games may be played on the weekends. Teams usually play around 15 games. 
·  Game are played against other Lancaster County teams. Traveling is limited within Lancaster County.
·  Home games will generally be played at the High School Varsity and JV baseball fields.
·  Metal bats ate this age group are limited maximum barrels of 2 5/8 inches, and length to weight ratios of no greater than -3 (ie., -4, -6, -10 not eligible).
·  2016 Post Season Playoffs will be held in mid July.
·  The league is broken down into a school and community league.
·  Teams may be eligible for the season ending New Era Tournament to be held in July 28,-Aug 2.
· 
The school league team is comprised of select JV players and community teams are generally comprised of players not playing JV baseball.

Legion (Late Spring/Summer)
The Conestoga Valley Legion Baseball is a combination of 11th and 12th grade varsity players as well as 1st year college students. (Ages 16, 17 and 18) This team competes in the American Legion League and travels around the Lancaster County.

Refunds may be available up until practice begins (which is late-March). Note: any refund that is issued will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
