Fall Baseball Registration
Registrations for the Fall baseball season begin mid to late July. CVBA encourages you to sign up for fall baseball as soon as possible due to league commitments, planning purposes, team placement guarantees, and to avoid any late fees.
CVBA offers a fall baseball program for travel player ages 8 to 13 playing in the Lancaster County Youth Baseball League (LCYBL). The age chart for the fall program uses the age the player will be in the spring of the following year. In other words, fall ball is the start of the next year's spring ball.
Fall Baseball Program
Fall Baseball is for players spring league age 8 to 13. Based upon age and skill level, players will be placed on a team in the 10U, 12U, or 14U age group for the fall season. All registrants are not guaranteed a spot on a team. Registrants will be selected to a Team by the CV Baseball Board of Directors. Selection criteria will be player skill, experience, winter evaluations, previous performance/stats, and coach input.
Due to the nature of fewer players participating in fall ball, we are unable to guarantee properly balancing players at each level, age group, and team. The goal is for every player to have a good experience and fit to the right team with the right amount of players. The board wishes it could place all interested players onto a team, but there are times when there are too few players to add an an age-level appropriate team or too many players to all be on the same team.
Practice will begin in late August and the season runs through the end of October. Games are held on varying weekdays under lights and on Saturdays typically during the day. Practices will continue during the fall season 1 or 2 nights per week. Games will be played locally in Conestoga Valley and throughout the leagues within Lancaster County.
Ages:
- 10U: Spring League Ages 8 to 11
- 12U: Spring League Ages 10 to 11
- 14U: Spring League Ages 12 to 13
All games are played in the LCYBL. There are typically 6 Saturday (10a to 1p) or Sunday (2p to 5p) double headers over a period of 8 weeks starting the weekend after Labor Day weekend. The season will wrap up in the middle-end of October. Some games may be scheduled on days/times based on conflicts, makeups, etc.
Age Chart
The following age chart will be used for the Fall 2023 Season. It is also the chart for the Spring 2024 season. Fall Ball is a prep season following the Spring Season. For example, a league age 8 year old for the Spring 2023 Season would be a leage age 9 year old for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 Seasons so that player would play in the 10U age bracket.

Registration Cost
- $175
- $40 savings for each additional child
The registration cost covers part of the uniform for players. Please see the FAQ for information on needed player equipment.
If your player is NOT assigned to a Team, a refund will be send to the credit/debit card by which you paid the registration fee in Stone Alley.
Registration Deadline
- The registration deadline is TBD.
- Any ACCEPTED registration after the Registration Deadline, if a deadline is set, MAY be subject to a $20.00 late fee.
Volunteering
Any individual interested in coaching a 10U, 12U, or 14U team this upcoming season must fill apply to the Board of Directors at info@cvbaseballassociation.com. The application must be submitted as soon as possible. Additionally, all background checks must be submitted prior to evaluations as soon as possible.
Refund Policy
If a refund is requested, we reserve the right to reduce the refund by any costs that we’ve incurred. Examples of those costs are registration fees, uniforms, league fees, etc. Submit your request via email to info@cvbaseballassociation.com with the player’s name and reason.
